Primordial President to Speak at Force Tracking Conference

Primordial's president, Randy L. Milbert, will speak at the second annual Institute for Defense and Government Advancement (IDGA) Force Tracking conference in Washington, D.C. on June 29, 2007. As part of Force Tracking University day, the three-hour briefing will educate the force tracking community on how Primordial's revolutionary Ground GuidanceĀ® software helps soldiers plan and navigate fast and concealed off-road routes across a battlefield.

After maturing Ground Guidance's feature set through recent contracts with the United States Army's Topographic Engineering Center (TEC), Milbert is eager to present at this year's Force Tracking conference. "I am excited about the opportunity to present to such a diverse and relevant audience," said Milbert. "My goal is to educate the community on the benefits of Ground Guidance and to illustrate how Ground Guidance solves many problems central to force tracking."

While force tracking focuses on questions such as Where am I and where are my buddies?, Ground Guidance focuses on related questions like Where am I going and what is the best way to get there? Unlike existing systems, Ground Guidance provides an all-terrain route planning tool that displays digital moving maps and overlays on a small handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) computer. These capabilities allow individual soldiers to dismount without losing situational awareness, which is impossible with existing force tracking systems like Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2) and Movement Tracking System (MTS).
